Congratulations to Alyssa and Justin on their marriage! I was privileged to be able to be there in Snowshoe, WV to witness and capture their beautiful day.

 

 

 

Alyssa was a beautiful bride.

 

 

The ceremony was so sweet. There were tears all around.

 

 

Alyssa and Jud were so much fun to be around and everything was just so laid back. Everyone had fun.

 

 

They made this sign and I thought this was a great picture. This is one of my favorite pictures coming up from the lake to the top of Snowshoe, WV.

 

 

It was a perfect day and a great couple.

 

 

Our Love Story Contest

Are you getting married or know of someone who is getting married? Do you have a great love story to tell? Do you want a FREE photo session? You may post your love story submissions on September 12th through October 23rd.

 

The stories will be assembled and voting will begin on October 24th! In order to vote, you must be a Fan/Like my Facebook page. Then you may “Like” the entry you vote for. Comments are encouraged, but only “likes” will count as votes! Feel free to recruit voters for your entry any way you can-post it to your Facebook profile, email your friends, tweet away-get creative!

 

The winner will receive a complimentary full 2 hour Bridal/Engagement session with me and a $150 print or merchandise credit!

 

Make sure to read all the rules before entering:

1) Enter your entries by October 23rd.

2) Only one love story per couple can be submitted

3) The love story can be submitted by Bride, Groom, Parents, Family, Friends of the engaged couple

4) By submitting your love story, you give JKC Photography permission to post your love story on Facebook/blog.

 

Voting

1) Voting will take place from October 24th – November 7th at midnight.

2) To vote for an entry, you must become a fan/”like”" my Facebook page, and then “like” the entry you want to vote for.

3) Only “likes” count as votes, but comments are welcome

4) You may vote for multiple entries, but only once per entry.

5) The winner (the love story with the most votes) will be announced on Monday, November 8th.

JKC Photography is now offering for Seniors a mini-site is a beautiful “mini” version of a full flash website which includes pictures and slideshows put to music and information for your family and friends to check out, learn pertinent details, such as Graduation and after party date and time, and guest can also leave comments. You can change the colors, add information and pictures, upload your own music, and customize each page from the order on the website to what information is on that page.

Willis’ Senior Session

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post some pictures of a great Senior session.

I thought this was a cool and dreamy kind of look.

Of course, the classic Senior look. What a photogenic guy.

Got to get the Lacrosse picture in there.

It was rainy and cloudy that day, but they had a beautiful tree that just bloomed over Easter weekend and mom wanted a picture of him in front of the tree. Good eye mom.

Hello from JKC Photography

Hey everyone, this is my new blog.  Blogging is new to me, but I hope to keep you up to date on what’s going on with JKC Photography. 

I specialize in weddings, senior portraits, family portraits, and fine art photography.  I do not have a studio as of yet, but I love to do on location photography. 

I am originally from North Carolina.  My husband and I, along with my cat, recently moved to north central West Virginia for his job.  

I capture the beauty and wonder of the love that surrounds those God has brought together. I love to record moments in time that will be remembered for a lifetime.  I use my lens to portray the raw emotions with a blend of photojournalism and traditional styles.  My passion for photography, storytelling, and personal attention to detail will ensure that your memories are preserved.  

I bring a fresh, no pre-conceived ideas attitude along with creativity and fun to each photo session.
